Crowne Plaza Greater Noida hosted the 7th edition of The Punch Boxing. The event saw World Boxing Council (WBC) – Asian Boxing Council Continental title contest between Sagar Narwat and Rahul Kumar, for the vacant Welterweight belt alongside eight other professional bouts.
Commenting on hosting this edition of the professional boxing series, Ashwani Nayar, General Manager, Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, said, “We are proud to host The Punch Boxing team at our hotel for the 3rd time. This is a great opportunity to encourage and promote the sport amongst Indians. With this initiative, the hotel is starting a trend of hosting sports events and we are optimistic this will open gates for creating new opportunities.”

The 7th edition of The Punch Boxingsaw participation from some of the well-known boxers across the nation such asSagarNarwat, Rahul Kumar, Harsh Gill, Arun Sharma, Geeta Solanki and debutant boxers such as Ashish Sethi. 9 professional bouts in total including the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental title, Indian Boxer SagarNarwatwas crowned the WBC Asia Continental Super Welterweight champion with a win over Rahul Kumar.
