A delegation of Property Federation Chandigarh led by President Kamaljit Singh Panchhi along with Narinder Singh, SA Khan and Amit Jain met Dharam Pal Advisor to the Administrator Chandigarh and discuss the grave problem faced by the citizens of Chandigarh due to the sudden stopping of Share Wise registries in the city. We respect the Hon’ble Supreme Court recent order and as per the order there is no order for stopping of the Share wise registries. As you are aware, the registry services play a crucial role in many important activities, including property transactions, legal documentation, and other important financial matters. Resident of Chandigarh are in Pannic that how, they will sell their Property Purchased in the Past Share wise. Many wants to Purchase full house by selling sharewise property. Many wants to sell their shares of property for marriages of their children. Registery of Share wise property should not be stopped.
We request to take immediate action to resolve this issue and ensure that share wise registry services are resumed soon in the interest of Citizens of Chandigarh. The Citizens of Chandigarh have a right to access these important services, and it is the responsibility of the government to ensure that they receive it. Citizens of Chandigarh always did the sale purchase Share wise as per byelaws of Chandigarh. Hon’ble Advisor sympathetically listened our problem and assured the delegation that he will discuss all above in the coming meeting of heritage committee and take necessary steps to resolve the issue.
