Deployment of BSF in Chandigarh

Keeping in view the present security scenario and on going Pakka Morcha at zero border of Mohali Chandigarh on 51/52 road since 7th January, 2023, adequate Law & Order arrangements have already been made at various places in the city. Further in coming days G-20 meeting is also on the row at city Chandigarh. Thus; in this regard to ensure proper maintenance of law & order in the city a special drive of vehicle checking, especially driven by youths or suspicious persons and vehicles bearing the registration number of other state, have been started by deploying BSF and local police at 09 outer border nakas.

These nakas will remain operational on round the clock basis to keep an eye on unsocial elements entering in the city and to keep their nefarious design nip in the bud.
