DGP Chandigarh Dr. Sagar Preet Hooda Calls for Enhanced Police Visibility, Night Patrolling, and Zero Tolerance Against Crime

WDGP UT Chandigarh, Dr. Sagar Preet Hooda, held a meeting with Chandigarh Police staff, urging them to intensify police visibility and strengthen night patrolling to ensure better public safety.

He directed officers to maintain high standards of conduct and interact respectfully with the public, underlining that the welfare of police personnel remains a key priority.

Dr. Hooda also emphasized a tough stance against drug peddlers, assuring complete anonymity for informers and warning of zero tolerance towards any police connivance.

Furthermore, he instructed strict action against fraudsters involved in illegal migration, stating that no leniency would be shown to those exploiting vulnerable individuals.

This focused strategy, he said, aims to build public trust, enhance safety, and promote professionalism within the Chandigarh Police.
