DGP Chandigarh encouraged the work of the Police Officials of Police Stations

In a major breakthrough, Chandigarh Police has succeeded to arrest three bike lifters and recovered 9 vehicles from their possession and the following cases were worked out.

SNATCHING CASE- FIR NO 52 dated 21.04.2023 U/S 379A, 411 IPC, PS-31, UT, Chandigarh

On the complaint of Ms. Diksha Thakur D/o Sh. Ram Krishan Thakur R/o H. No. 202, C10, Surya Tower VIP Road, Zirkapur (Pb) case was registered and during investigation accused Garvit Goyal S/o Manish Goyal R/o H. No. 472, Sector-32, Chandigarh age 18 yrs was arrested within 2 hours by significant efforts of below mentioned Police officials and recovered the snatched property i.e mobile phone (iPhone). The following police officials of PS 31 have played excellent role to work out the above said case so they have been rewarded suitably.

A team comprising of below mentioned Police officials nabbed a habitual criminal/accused Divesh Sharma on 19.04.2023 who had stolen Cash Rs.60000/- 3 Gold chains 5 sets Gold Ear rings 1 Gold Kitty set 1 diamond necklace and 2 gold rings from the house of Sh. Bhagwati Joshi R/o #5702 Sec-38 west Chandigarh upon whose complaint case FIR no.39 dt.16.04.2023 u/s 380 457 IPC PS-Maloya was registered. The following police officials of PS Maloya have played excellent role to work out the above said case so they have been rewarded suitably.
