Earth Day Celebrations At Strawberry Fields High School Chandigarh

The students of grade 10, Strawberry Fields High School Chandigarh celebrated the Earth Day by truly, a one-of-a-kind field trip to this new and ingenious concept of a mini urban forest. The Guru Nanak Mini Urban Forest (Khalsa College Sector 26 Chandigarh) integrates the concepts of ecosystem, cultural and biological diversity while successfully maintaining its indigenous touch. The mini forest is an excellent modern day take on sustainability and spreading awareness about the same.

An initiative amalgamating the aspect of environmental sustainability, heritage and cultural preservation. The native tree species planted here display Chandigarh’s beautiful natural flora and is a symbol of how we must all come together to protect it. This forest in the midst of cosmopolitan hustle bustle, helps Chandigarh live up to its name-The city green.
