Exit Options from Israel for Tourists
The Voice of Chandigarh :
The “Safe Return” framework for outbound flights from Israel came into effect for all people currently in the country – Israeli citizens and tourists.

Those interested in leaving Israel by flight should contact Israeli airlines directly (El Al, Arkia, Israir, and Air Haifa) that have received approval to operate under this framework. Currently, according to the framework, each outbound flight from Israel will have up to 50 passengers only. This is part of security principles aimed at reducing the number of people and time spent at the airport.

It is also possible to leave Israel via sea passage.
Ticket purchases are made through shipping companies.
Additionally, it is possible to leave Israel through land crossings to Jordan and Egypt, and from there continue with international flights.
Land Crossing Details:
- Taba crossing to Egypt (Begin) – open 24 hours
- Jordan River crossing (Sheikh Hussein) near Beit She’an – 18:00-8:30
- Yitzhak Rabin crossing (Arava) to Jordan near Eilat – 06:30-23:00
- Allenby crossing (King Hussein) to Jordan near Jericho – 17:00-08:00 – This crossing is not open to Israeli passport holders.
Please check the operating hours of land crossings on the Israel Airports Authority website: https://www.iaa.gov.il/
