Finance Minister, Punjab inaugurates 2 days Youth Fest at Aryans Campus
IKG-PTU, Jalandhar Youth Festival kick starts at Aryans Campus

Finance Minister, Punjab S. Harpal Singh Cheema inaugurated Youth fest of IKG-PTU, Jalandhar at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Thousands of students of around 10 Colleges from various districts of west Zone of IKG-PTU, Jalandhar participated in various cultural activities of the Youth Festival. Smt. Neena Mittal, MLA Rajpura was the Guest of Honour. Adv Vikram Passi, Mr. Lovish Mittal was the Special Guest. Sh. Sumeer Sharma, Assistant Director, Youth Affairs, IKG-PTU was present on Occasion Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.
Renowned Punjabi Singer Param & Kashmiri Artist Popping Sam also enthralled the audience at the inaugural ceremony of 2 days Youth fest.
Harpal Singh Cheema said that Youth is the backbone of the Society and the Nation and Education with entertainment is the source to enlighten and direct the youth for the right path. Maan Govt is determined to eradicate the evil of drugs from the roots of Punjab and to meet this challenge the millions of youth of Punjab is the supreme power that can be used in the right direction towards sports & Culture. He praised the efforts made by Aryans in past also for emphasizing on Entertainment along with Education.
Cheema added that education has been kept as a priority area by the Punjab government to further raise the standard of education. The Punjab government is committed to bring unprecedented changes in the field of education and health. Later he congratulated all the students of participating Colleges in the youth fest.
Neena Mittal while speaking on the occasion said that Aryans Group of Colleges is the pride of the region & since last 15 years the group is really working hard under the leadership of Dr. Kataria. She added that youth should be involved more in co-curricular activities so that they can be involved in the mainstream of the society and can help in bringing revolutionary change in the society.
Dr. Anshu Kataria while speaking on the occasion thanked IKG-PTU for allotting Youth fest to Aryans. He said youth festivals play a major role in grooming the youth and in the cultural development of the country. He further said that Aryans would do their best to make the fest successful. Under the Campaign Making Punjab Drug Free, Kataria appealed to all the students to Be a Hero without Heroine (Drug).
First Day of youth festival observed various Cultural and Non Cultural activities including Giddha, International Folk Dance, Classical Dance, Group Shabad, Bhajan, Group Song Indian, Vaar Singing, Western Vocal Solo, Western Group Song, Creative writing, Quiz, Clay Modeling, Collage Making, Cartooning, On the spot Painting etc.
Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria, Mrs Rajni Kataria (Founders), Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General; Prof. BS Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group; Dr. JK Saini, Director, Aryans College of Engineering; Dr. Garima Thakur, Deputy Director, Aryans Group Prof. Dr. Krishan Singla, Mrs Kusum Sood, Dean, Academics; Mrs Manpreet Maan, Dean Scholarship Dept; Mrs. Nidhi Chopra, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing; Mr. Manu Kataria, Chief Finance Officer; Mr. Navdeep Girdhar, Liaison Officer etc were also present on the occasion.
