Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) has unveiled a special daily HVAC bus service to facilitate devotees traveling to the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. This iconic spiritual event, underway in Uttar Pradesh, will continue until February 26, 2025.

The bus service was officially flagged off today ISBT-17, Chandigarh, by Diprava Lakra, IAS, Secretary Finance and Secretary Transport, UT Chandigarh Administration, alongside Pradhuman Singh, HCS, Director Transport-cum-Divisional Manager, CTU, and other senior officials.

  • Route: ISBT-17, Chandigarh → Delhi → Sikandrabad → Kanpur → Prayagraj (Nehru Park)
  • Service Type: HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
  • Fare: ₹1,662 (One-way)
  • Journey Distance: 919 km
  • Travel Time: 19 hours 25 minutes

  • Departure from Chandigarh: 12:00 PM
  • Arrival in Prayagraj: 7:25 AM (Next day)
