GLORIA MOLINA GRAND PARK 4TH OF JULY BLOCK PARTY
Gloria Molina Grand Park presents one of its signature events, the 4th of July Block Party, from 4pm to 9:30pm! This year’s event features arts activities, sports games, live music, and dance, with dozens of LA’s favorite food trucks and DJs spinning genres from hip-hop to reggaeton, funk, and more. Enjoy the return of the Gloria Molina Grand Park Ferris Wheel and an innovative drone show by Grizzly Entertainment. This is a free, inclusive event for all ages.
“INDEPENDENCE DAY” – ROOFTOP CINEMA CLUB
Rooftop Cinema Club offers a premier outdoor movie experience at LEVEL in Downtown LA. On July 4th, RCC presents a screening of Independence Day (1996) starring Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum. Arrive early when doors open at 6:40pm and enjoy rooftop views, a live acoustic set of Americana, and frosty beverages at the bar. Tickets are $65 and include access to the rooftop party, a plate of BBQ and soft drink.
MARINA DEL REY 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS
One of Marina del Rey’s most popular annual events, the 4th of July Fireworks Show is back with a 20-minute display that starts at 9pm.View the show from virtually anywhere in Marina del Rey, Venice Pier, Playa Vista and Dockweiler Beach. City Cruises is offering special July 4th cruises: the two-hour Sights & Sips Cruise from 7:30-9:30pm; and a three-hour Premier Dinner Cruise (7-10pm) with gourmet buffet, DJ and optional Top Shelf Bar Packages.
Alternatively, you can charter a private yacht to get the ultimate close-up view.
RONALD REAGAN LIBRARY 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
Taking place from 10am to 3pm, the 4th of July Celebration at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library includes live patriotic music, family entertainment, picnic games, arts & crafts, photo ops with presidential lookalikes and more. At noon, the Reagan Library will unveil the Charters of Freedom Monument – the first in California, the monument includes life-size replicas of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
DODGER STADIUM (JULY 2-4, 2024)
For Dodger fans, there’s always the hope for some fireworks from the Boys in Blue. The Dodgers host the Arizona Diamondbacks from July 2-4, including Japanese Heritage Night on Tuesday, July 2; Bobby Miller Bobblehead giveaway on July 3; and a fireworks show on July 4.
