Governor dedicates 50 bedded Covid hospital
The Voice of Chandigarh News: Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh, V.P. Singh Badanore, dedicates to the public, the Free 50 bedded Covid hospital at Sector 8, Chandigarh, created by Sri Sathya Sai Gramin Jagriti, and its team. Congratulating the trustees including Amar Vivek Aggarwal, advocate, Rohina Khullar, Bharat B Gupta, Satish Garg and a number of other public-spirited persons and NGOs, who joined together to set up this one of the most unique facility, studded with recreation centre, games room, it was dedicated more as a healing and health centre than a mere hospital with Oxygen facility up to L-2 level.
Amar Vivek Aggarwal stated that he was feeling very somber and humble, and was unable to count blessings of Lord Almighty in conferring strength and energy upon them in creating this facility, right from a scratch. This 50 Bedded free Covid Care hospital at the Sports Complex of Govt Sr. Secondary School Sector 8, Chandigarh would give a lot of succour to poorest and under-privileged, particularly when people drawn from villages and colonies etc. including from neighbouring States of Punjab and Haryana etc. who are now being affected of covid in large numbers, shall be given good facilities without any charges, which is the key speciality of this centre.
The center has indoor games like Carom, Ludo etc. for body and above all Spiritual background for Soul, which would have ruhani music, TV Screens playing Positive Videos, Yoga Therapy, all of would give lot of succor, especially to poorest of poor sections, which is backed with CCTVs, TV Screens, Wifi, Intercoms, and public address system etc. all that would keep patients happy. Patients would have place to have long walks outside in fresh air and sunlight. The patients will be given food, fruits and liquids and fluids in addition to the requisite medicines, so that they are able to tide over the crisis, without any worries of financial constraints.
For this purpose, elaborate arrangements for the care and well being of covid patients, especially those drawn from the under-privileged sections of the community at large has been made. Besides the basic care and 50 Oxygen beds with all requisite infrastructure and medical equipment, the center will be providing recreational activities, games. Yoga, spiritual music, and is equipped with CCTVs for assistance of patients, TV Screens, Wifi, Intercoms, and public address system etc. for keeping the patients lively and in happy atmosphere.
The large hall which has been converted to covid care hospital, is very well ventilated and has good exhaust, sunlight and is well ventilated. The patients shall be provided free facilities and a free kit containing essential items including toiletries etc. The organization has made arrangements of Oxygen Cylinders, oximeters, essential medical equipment and supplies to run its operations smoothly. It has already engaged 08 doctors, 12 nurses and adequate paramedical and support staff for this purpose.
The forum is relying upon the citizens of tri-city to support the daily running costs of this care centre. Thus, a clarion call to citizens, to join and support this mammoth movement and to join hands with us, to fight out Covid. We are exempted U/s S. 80G of the IT Act and registered under FERA [FCRA] for foreign contributions. The Trust placed the invaluable contribution of humanity at the Feet of Lord Almighty while undertaking this mammoth task selflessly, with humility and surrender.
