Home Minister Anil Vij appeals to the people to maintain law and order and restore peace in Nuh

Haryana Home Minister, Anil Vij appealed the people to maintain law and order and restore peace in connection with the incident that took place in Nuh.
Vij said this in response to a question asked by media persons regarding the incident that took place during the Brijmandal religious yatra in Nuh.
Home Minister Anil Vij said the government has dispatched additional forces from neighbouring districts after getting information regarding the incident in Nuh. Speaking to the media, he stated that we have also talked to the Central Government, and three companies are being airdropped there in order to rescue people.
The Home Minister said that directions have also been issued to suspended the internet in Mewat in order to stop any scope of rumours. Further, he said that we are trying to restore peace. He appealed to the people of Nuh to maintain law and order.
In response to a question, he said that wherever people are stranded, they are being rescued and additional forces are being sent there. Vij said that the SP of Mewat was on leave but the SP of Palwal was incharge of both the districts and he is present at the spot with the force to rescue the people.
In response to a question regarding some vehicles being set ablaze in Nuh, he said that evidence of some vehicles being set ablaze and people responsible will be assessed later, “Our first priority is to bring situation under control. We are appealing to all to maintain peace, Vij said.
