Inauguration of Tele-Consultation Center at Dhanas

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity has established a containerized eHealth Center at HWC- Milk Colony Dhanas in Collaboration with National Health Mission. M/s Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has also established one Telemedicine Studio at Govt. Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector 16.
This studio is working as a Tele-Consultation Hub for all Health & Wellness Centers of UT, Chandigarh. Hewlett Packard Enterprise under its CSR Charter has also provided extensive help during COVID Pandemic times by digitizing our 28 Health & Wellness Centers across the U.T for vaccination purposes. Laptops have been provided to 28 Health & Wellness Centers along with LED, Furniture and Water dispensers for the waiting area to 16 HWCs.
Mr. Dharampal, Adviser to the Administrator, inaugurated the Tele-Consultation Centre along with a facility for Registration, ECG and Lab Testing. This will further strengthen the delivery of quality health care to the community.
On this occasion, Mr. Dharampal stated that recently Chandigarh has bagged 2nd prize amongst all States/UTs for Tele-consultation services on the occasion of Heath & Wellness Centre day celebrated on 16th April 2022 yet we have to do a lot of work in the field of telemedicine. He stated that the 34 Health & Wellness Centres, located in different parts of the City are being upgraded and modernized in such a way that UT Chandigarh becomes a role model to the rest of the country. The Health & Wellness Centers will be the focal point for efficient delivery of all the health services except those requiring physical presence at the major Hospitals. He stated that there will be a proper facility at each of the HWCs so that the patients can avail most of the services through Telemedicine/e-Sanjivini and the Doctors at HWCs can consult the Specialist Doctors at GMSH-16/GMCH-2 and PGIMER for better patient care & satisfaction.
