It is Government’s Duty to Resolve Citizens’ Problems: CM Nayab Singh Saini

CM Listens to Public Grievances in Ladwa; Announces Hike in Social Security Pension to ₹3,200 per Month

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reaffirmed that resolving the problems of citizens is the paramount responsibility of the government, emphasizing that the doors of his residence remain open 24 hours to listen to public concerns. He said that district administrations across Haryana are also holding ‘Samadhan Camps’ every Monday and Thursday to address people’s grievances promptly.

The Chief Minister was interacting with residents during a Jan Samvad (public dialogue) programme held in Ladwa, where he personally heard the grievances of around 200 people related to BPL ration cards, family ID, electricity, and police issues. Following the session, he also participated in a tree plantation drive at the PWD Rest House premises.

Highlighting the government’s farmer-centric approach, CM Saini said all crops in Haryana are now being procured at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Recently, the support price for sugarcane was raised to ₹415 per quintal. He added that about ₹1.48 lakh crore has been transferred directly to the accounts of 12 lakh farmers as procurement payments. The long-standing ‘Aabiana’ system, dating back to the British era, has also been abolished to provide relief to farmers.

The Chief Minister announced that Haryana offers the highest social security pension in the country, which has been increased from ₹3,000 to ₹3,200 per month. Additionally, the newly launched ‘Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana’ will provide ₹2,100 per month to economically weaker women starting November 1.

Reiterating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to make India a developed nation by 2047, CM Saini urged citizens to support the ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Make in India’ movements. He also underlined the government’s GST reforms and welfare initiatives aimed at strengthening the economy and improving citizens’ lives.

The event was attended by former Minister of State Subhash Sudha, Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena, and other senior officials.
