ITOA and OTOAI Sign Landmark MoU at ITB India 2024

A major milestone in tourism diplomacy was achieved as the Iranian Tour Operators Association (ITOA) and the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at ITB India 2024.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Mostafa Shafie Shakib, Chairman of ITOA, and Mr. Riaz Munshi, President of OTOAI, during a ceremony held at OTOAI’s booth (Stall No. D29) at the ITB India event. The signing was witnessed by prominent members of both associations, including Mr. Shravan Bhalla, Vice President of OTOAI, and Ms. Monia Kapoor, Joint Secretary of OTOAI.
This agreement marks a significant step in enhancing tourism ties between India and Iran, highlighting a mutual commitment to explore new opportunities, foster growth, and establish sustainable partnerships. The presence of Mr. Shakib and other distinguished Iranian delegates underscored the importance of this initiative, which aims to promote cultural exchange and unlock new tourism potential between the two nations.
