Jersey unveils ceremony of ‘Allengers Gully Cricket Tournament 2023′ held at Committee room Police Head Quarter Chandigarh

The jersey unveils ceremony of ‘Allengers Gully Cricket Tournament 2023′ was held at Committee room, Police Head Quarter, Sector-9, Chandigarh. Kanwardeep Kaur, SSP/UT, Chandigarh alongwith Sanjay Tandon, President, UT Cricket Association (UTCA), Anup Gupta, Mayor, Ram Gopal, DSP/CID cum PRO and other core committee members i.e.  Rupesh K Singh, Ravinder Singh Billa, MD, Allengers were present there.

The slogan on the jersey is “बल्ला घुमाओ नशा भगाओ”.  A total of 238 teams are participating in this tournament which will kick off. The Governor of Punjab and UT Administrator His Excellency Banwari Lal Purohit will inaugurate the tournament at Cricket Stadium, Sector-16, Chandigarh in the presence of the participating teams. Around 2800 young talents of the city between the age group of 14 to 18 years are participating in this tournament which is well supported by the Sports Department, Education and Social Welfare Department of the Chandigarh Administration as well as Chandigarh Municipal Corporation.

The objective of ‘Allengers Gully Cricket Tournament 2023′ in aligned with cricketing passion amongst the youth and to keep them away from drugs and criminal activities.
