Justice Haripal Verma (Retd.) appointed Lokayukta of Haryana

Haryana Governor, Bandaru Dattatraya administered the oath of office and loyalty to new Lokayukta Justice Haripal Verma (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan.

On this occasion Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal and Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Gian Chand Gupta were also present.

Justice Haripal Verma (Retd.) succeeds Justice Nawal Kishore Agarwal, who completed his five-year term as Lokayukta, Haryana.

Among those present during the occasion included Haryana Chief Secretary, Vijai Vardhan, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, D.S. Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance and Planning Departments, T.VS.N. Prasad, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr Amit Agrawal, Secretary to Hon’ble Governor, Atul Dwivedi, Director General of Police, P.K. Agrawal, ADGP (CID), Alok Mittal, Judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court and other senior officers.
