Justice Rajbir Sehrawat Inspires New Advocates at Bar Council Convocation

Justice Rajbir Sehrawat, Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, served as the Chief Guest at a convocation organized by the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. During the event, he administered the oath to 279 newly enrolled advocates and distributed their enrollment certificates.
Justice Sehrawat inspired the new entrants by urging them to embrace hard work and believe that “the sky is the limit.” He emphasized the qualities essential for success in the legal profession, including good knowledge, patience, compassion, and a commitment to treating everyone with equality.
Dr. Vijender Singh Ahlawat, Chairman of the Bar Council, welcomed Justice Sehrawat and advised the new advocates to uphold the dignity of their profession. The event was also attended by Hony Secretary Karamjeet Singh Chaudhary, Rakesh Gupta (Chairman of the Enrollment Committee), and various committee members, along with advocates and their families from Punjab, Haryana, and U.T. Chandigarh.
Since its establishment under the Advocates Act of 1961, the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana has enrolled approximately 140,000 advocates, continuing its legacy of supporting legal professionals in the region.
