LC Panchkula Premier members celebrated Swatantra divas with the students of Govt Primary school at Dhanas, Chandigarh.

Trophies and certificates were given to the winners of the Drawing competition and Rakhi making competition.

The student’s enthusiasm was shining as they were given tri-coloured caps, wrist bands and flags of India.

After the students staged performances like songs, skits and dramas etc., fruits, lassi, sweets and biscuits were distributed to them.

Later in the park maintained within the school, about 30 trees were planted.

Chief guest & RC Lion Shiny Taneja Ji, also inspired the students by teaching them the value of planting trees.

Mrs. Bhamra and other lion members of her club also participated in the celebrations by singing patriotic songs.

The mega event was also actively supported by Tricity Leo club.
