The Voice of Chandigarh News:

The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (Los Angeles Tourism) is pleased to announce special group hotel offers tied to its ‘Now Playing’ campaign, which highlights major events in the Los Angeles area in the coming months. The campaign aims to encourage the planner community to book meetings around major events and entice group bookings with an array of exciting hotel incentives bookable through June 30, 2025.

“Over the next several months, Los Angeles will host hundreds of events, and the ‘Now Playing’ campaign highlights the concept of play and unique ‘only-in-LA’ experiences that make meetings and events in LA truly unforgettable,” said Adam Burke, President & CEO, Los Angeles Tourism. “Our hotel community has united to provide a range of incentives, which can be seamlessly combined with LA Tourism’s ‘Destination Offer.’ This partnership enhances experiences for meeting planners and reinforces LA as the ultimate destination for meetings and events, where every gathering is transformed into a one-of-a-kind experience.”

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES

Planners who submit a qualified, new meeting/event lead/RFP (Request for Proposal) to the LA Tourism Sales team are eligible to receive a $50 gift card for 10 – 99 rooms, or a $100 gift card for 100 rooms or more on peak. This offer only applies to new leads/RFPs and excludes previously sourced opportunities.

Once the group is booked, Planners are eligible to receive $10 per actualized room night, up to $5,000 back to the organization. This excludes complimentary room nights.

More than 40 hotel offers are available across the LA area, including in Downtown Los Angeles/LA Metro, Beach Cities/LAX, the Westside, The Valley and Greater Hollywood. As the world’s entertainment capital, Los Angeles is always “red carpet ready,” allowing event planners to become producers and bring their creative vision to life. With an unprecedented decade of global sporting events coming to LA, planners and attendees also have the opportunity to experience the host venues that will soon be on the world stage including the brand-new Intuit Dome (host of NBA All-Star 26), SoFi Stadium (host of the FIFA World Cup 26 and the opening ceremony of the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games), and iconic venues like Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Dodger Stadium, BMO Stadium, and Rose Bowl Stadium.

At the heart of LA’s meetings and events lies the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). Earlier this month, the Los Angeles City Council voted to move forward with LACC’s Expansion and Modernization Project. The vote highlighted the City’s commitment to investing in the LACC, an economic engine for the region and a project that will create thousands of jobs for Angelenos, attract visitors and bring new revenue to the City’s General Fund.
