MICHAL FIJOL, A LONG-TERM MEMBER OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF LOT POLISH AIRLINES, APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF THE NATIONAL CARRIER
The Voice of Chandigarh | Travel Trade Reporter – The Supervisory Board of the Company, having conducted the qualification procedure, appointed Michal Fijol as the President of the Management Board of LOT Polish Airlines. The new President had been a Member of the Management Board for Commercial Affairs for nearly seven years.
Michal Fijol has been associated with LOT Polish Airlines since January 2016 – first as the Management Board Representative for Commercial Affairs, and back in March 2017 he took the position of Member of the Management Board for Commercial Affairs. He completed doctoral studies in the field of Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics. As a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) and the Austrian government, he also studied at the University of Osnabrück, Germany as well as at the University of Economics in Vienna, Austria. Before joining the LOT Polish Airlines team, he had worked for international corporations in the areas of digital, marketing and sales.

I do believe that my hitherto experience and cooperation with the extremely professional and passionate team of LOT Polish Airlines will bring nothing but good results and strengthen the position of the National Carrier not only on the Polish market but also on foreign markets of crucial importance to us,” said Michał Fijoł, President of the Management Board of LOT Polish Airlines.
At the same time, the Supervisory Board decided today to dismiss Paweł Rozkrut from his position as Chief Financial Officer.
