Musical Tribute to Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar on Her Third Death Anniversary with “Alive Forever – Edition 3”

On the occasion of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar’s third death anniversary, a grand musical tribute, “Alive Forever – Edition 3,” will be organized by Immortal Musical Waves and the Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Academy.

During a press conference at the Chandigarh Press Club, Sudesh Sharma, Chairman of Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Academy, along with Param Chandel, Director of Immortal Musical Waves, and team members Vikas Singla, Rajesh Kumar, and Anshul Arora, shared details about the event.

The program will take place on February 16 at Tagore Theatre from 5:30 PM onwards. It will feature performances by Bollywood’s renowned Symphony Musical Group. Member of Parliament Manish Tewari will be the chief guest.

Legendary Musicians to Share Memories

The event will also see the participation of renowned musicians who worked with Lata Ji, including those who collaborated under legendary composers Laxmikant-Pyarelal, R.D. Burman, and Kalyanji-Anandji. These musicians will share their personal experiences of working with Lata Mangeshkar.

Reality Show Stars and Regional Artists to Perform

Adding to the musical extravaganza, participants and winners of popular singing reality shows such as Indian Idol, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Super Voice of India, and Voice of Punjab will perform. Additionally, renowned singers from Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh will also take part in the tribute.

Honoring a Timeless Legacy

The “Alive Forever – Lata Mangeshkar Night” will feature timeless melodies that made Lata Mangeshkar a global icon. Through this event, Immortal Musical Waves and the Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Academy aim to pay homage to her legendary career and everlasting musical legacy.

Sudesh Sharma emphasized that the event also aims to provide a platform for young talents to showcase their musical abilities and gain recognition. Director Param Chandel added that the initiative will also support musicians and singers for whom music is not just a passion but a livelihood.

This tribute promises to be a melodic celebration of the life and music of Lata Mangeshkar, ensuring that her voice and legacy remain “Alive Forever.”
