
New Leadership Elected at TAFI Northern India Chapter’s AGM in New Delhi

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Northern India Chapter of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) was successfully held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at The Park Hotel, New Delhi, under the Chapter Chairmanship of Mr. Khushvinder Sarna.
A key highlight of the event was the Chapter Elections for the term 2025–2027, where the following candidates were declared elected unopposed:
- Chairman – Mr. Dinesh Kumar (Inter Airwings Pvt. Ltd.)
- Secretary – Mr. Rajiv Aggarwal (Hindustan Air Travels)
- Treasurer – Mr. Naveen Kumar Gupta (Travelco India)
- Committee Members – Ms. Charu Arora (YTS Travel Services Pvt. Ltd.) and Ms. Niti Batra (Joy Travels Pvt. Ltd.)
The event saw the gracious presence of TAFI National Vice President Mr. Anil Kalsi, Joint Treasurer Mr. Rai Achal Krishna, and several esteemed members of the Northern India Chapter. The newly elected team was welcomed with flower bouquets and warm wishes for a successful tenure, along with assurances of full cooperation from the national leadership and fraternity members.
In their address, the newly elected office bearers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all members and reaffirmed their commitment to the welfare of the travel trade. They pledged to initiate dialogue with stakeholders across the tourism sector and actively advocate for the formulation of a comprehensive tourism policy by the Governments of India, NCT of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
The AGM concluded on a positive note with renewed optimism for collaborative progress and strategic representation of Northern India’s travel industry interests.
