TAAI Elects New Managing Committee for 2024-2026: A Commitment to Members First

In a landmark gathering on September 30, 2024, the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM), where members elected a new Managing Committee for the term 2024-2026. With an impressive turnout of over 760 attendees, the event marked one of the highest participations in TAAI’s history.
Newly elected President, Sunil Kumar R., expressed his gratitude to the members for their confidence and support. “It is an honor to lead the TAAI Managing Committee during this pivotal time,” he stated. “Our mission of ‘Members First’ will remain at the forefront of our efforts as we navigate the challenges and opportunities within the industry.”
Kumar highlighted the importance of increasing member engagement at both local and national levels to address rising expectations and optimize emerging opportunities. He has already initiated discussions with the Managing Committee and Chairpersons to formulate actionable plans aimed at ensuring TAAI remains effective, relevant, and growing.
He also recognized the contributions of the outgoing Managing Committee, led by Ms. Jyoti Mayal, thanking them for their dedicated service. “Their leadership has laid a strong foundation for our future,” he noted.
As the new committee begins its term, Kumar reassured members that they will be kept informed and connected. “Your support is our strength, and together, we can elevate TAAI to new heights,” he concluded.
