PHDCCI organized Session themed ‘Ignite MSME Growth for Global Competitiveness’ under the RAMP Series

The Chandigarh Chapter of PHDCCI, in association with the Industries Department, Chandigarh Administration, organized a session on ‘Ignite MSME Growth for Global Competitiveness’ under the RAMP Series at PHD House, Sector 31, Chandigarh.
The session was aimed at creating awareness among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) about various schemes, financial tools and technological interventions available to boost competitiveness and sustainability.
In his welcome address, CS Rahul Jogi, Convener, Regional NCLT and Corporate Affairs Committee, PHDCCI, highlighted the pivotal role of MSMEs in driving India’s economic growth and employment generation. He emphasized the need for continuous innovation, financial literacy and quality enhancement to help MSMEs compete globally. He also noted that PHDCCI had been proactively conducting capacity-building programmes to empower MSMEs and improve ease of doing business.
Earlier, Ms. Bharti Sood, Senior Regional Director, PHDCCI, shared the organisation’s vision of enabling MSMEs through partnerships with government departments, financial institutions and technology providers. She stressed that the RAMP initiative served as an important platform to promote competitiveness, particularly in emerging sectors.
During the session, Sandeep Sahni, Founder and MD, Sahayak Associates, elaborated on effective financial planning, credit facilitation and leveraging government-backed financing schemes.
Ankur Dhir, Q Solutions Group, underlined the role of adopting quality management standards to improve productivity, customer trust and market access globally.
Jahanvi Singh, Brand and Marketing Strategist, highlighted the growing importance of artificial intelligence in digital marketing and demonstrated how MSMEs could harness AI tools and social media for improved visibility.
Bhupinder Saini, Assistant Project Manager, CREST, spoke on renewable energy adoption and sustainability practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where participants sought expert guidance on financing challenges, scheme implementation and the adoption of digital and sustainable solutions.
