POLICE STATION-26 CHANDIGARH ARRESTS HABITUAL OFFENDER SUMIT@GOLU

It is submitted that a police party of Police Station-26, on the close
supervision of SDPO East Gurumukh Singh and on the direction of SHO
PS-26 Insp. Jasbir Singh and headed by Bapu Dham Police Post Incharge Rohitash Kumar Yadav apprehended one person namely Sumit @ Golu s/o Satgurulal r/o #2066, Mouli Jagran, Chd Age-19 year with stolen Activa No. HR03L 8702.

The recovered Activa Scooter was stolen from Mani Majra in October
2020. A case FIR no. 160 U/S-411 IPC has been registered in PS-26,
Chandigarh against Sumit @ Golu. The accused Sumit@Golu has been
interrogated and produced before the Ld court and one-day police remand
was obtained. During interrogation accused disclosed that he has also stolen one Activa Scooter number HR03S5769 from Panchkula Sector-14, we have recovered the said stolen Activa Scooter and taken u/s -102Cr.PC., he has stolen another Activa Scooter No. HR02AL6120 from sector-29, Chandigarh and one Activa Scooter PB65L8462 from Ind. area phase-1, near Ellante Mall both stolen Activa Scooter's have also been recovered from Mouli Jagran.

He has stolen one mobile phone from Shastri Nagar PS-IT park. Total 4
stolen Activa Scooter's have been recovered from the possession of accused Sumit@ Golu.

The previous record of accused Sumit @ Golu is that he has been arrested
by Panchkula police in NDPS case in the month of April 2021.
