Praveer Ranjan DGP Chandigarh has approved the regular due promotions of 112 eligible police

For the Government servant, promotions from a lower post to a higher post involving higher duties responsibilities and authority are morale boosters. Praveer Ranjan, IPS, Director General of Police, UT, Chandigarh has approved the regular due promotions of 112 eligible police officials who have been promoted to the ranks of Inspector, Sub Inspectors and ASI which leads to the enhancement of their salary and their social status. The promotions given are as under:-

Besides this, a total of 691 police personnel’s have also been granted local ranks, to the rank of ASI (Executive), ASI (Wireless Oprs), ASI (Wireless Tech), Head Constables (Executive) on the pattern of Punjab Police after completion of 16, 24, 30 years of service. The promotions given are as under:-
