Punjab Governor enquires after health of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann at Fortis Hospital

Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria visited Fortis Hospital to enquire about the health of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann. On this occasion, he also conveyed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s good wishes for the Chief Minister’s speedy recovery.

Speaking to the media, Governor Kataria informed that during yesterday’s detailed briefing, the Prime Minister enquired multiple times about the Chief Minister’s health.

Governor Kataria mentioned that the Chief Minister’s health is improving, but he advised him to stay at the hospital for another day or two, if necessary, to take complete rest and ensure full recovery.

He further stated that the ₹1600 crore announced by the Prime Minister for Punjab is only an initial amount. After a detailed assessment, maximum assistance will be provided to farmers, homeowners, and livestock owners.

Prominent among those present during the Governor’s visit were Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha, and DGP Gaurav Yadav.
