Tourism and Hospitality Stakeholders Unite at the ADTOI Event

Tourism and hospitality leaders gathered at the Vesta International Hotel in Jaipur for the Rajasthan Hospitality and Tourism Stakeholder Meet-2024 organized by the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI). The event aimed to unite stakeholders and honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the tourism sector. Officials from both central and state tourism departments were also in attendance. The program included discussions on the challenges and solutions in the tourism sector, with a focus on promoting rural and domestic tourism to support growth.
During the event, prominent personalities including Mr. GD Bairwa from the Central Tourism Ministry, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Additional Director of the Rajasthan Tourism Department, and other chief guests were honored. Notable figures such as Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chandela, President of the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), Mr. Khalid Khan, Vice President of FHTR, Mr. Mahendra Singh, President of the Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO) and Co-Chairman of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) Rajasthan, Mr. Mohan Singh Medtia, Secretary of RATO, Mr. Rajendra Singh Jodha, Executive Committee Member of RATO and FHTR, and Mr. Sanjay Kaushik, National Growth Committee Advisor, were presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The event also featured an open discussion on wedding tourism in Rajasthan, with Mr. Kuldeep Singh, President of HRAR, highlighting the current trend of wedding themes and their potential to significantly boost domestic tourism in the region. ADTOI President Mr. P.P. Khanna emphasized the importance of promoting domestic tourism for economic growth at both national and state levels, while Mr. Surendra Shahpura stressed the significance of focusing on heritage and culture. Senior Vice President Mr. Rajat Sawhney, ADTOI Rajasthan Chairman Mr. Hem Singh, Mr. Mahendra Singh, and Mr. Vivek Goenka also shared their insights during the event.
The meeting was attended by various individuals including ADTOI Treasurer Mr. Surendra Kumar, Mr. Sukhdev Singh, Mr. Pradeep Srivastava, Mr. Arvind Jodha, Mr. Gunjan Mathur, Mr. Narendra Singh, Mr. Harendra Singh, Mr. Swetank Maheshwari, Mr. Kamal Sarawgi, Mr. Man Singh, the ADTOI Rajasthan team, Guide Association, Forum, and members of the Indian Heritage Hotel Association (IHHA).
