Rajeev Verma, Advisor to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh launches the IO’S Hand Book and Mobile App on new criminal laws

Mobile App “Learn New Bharatiya Laws” and Investigation Officer Handbook on three (03) New Criminal Laws i.e. Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (“BNS”) , Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (‘BNSS’), Bhartiya Sakshaya Adhiniyam, 2023 (BSA) launched/released by Rajeev Verma, IAS, Worthy Advisor to the Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh at U.T. Secretariat Building, Sector-09, Chandigarh. Dr. Vijay Namdeorao Zade IAS Finance Secretary UT Chandigarh, Nitin Kumar Yadav IAS Home Secretary UT Chandigarh Praveer Ranjan, IPS Director General of Police UT Chandigarh, Raj Kumar Singh IPS Inspector General of Police UT Chandigarh along with 100 Police officials were also present in the occasion. Mobile App has been got developed by our Cyber Interns and Hackathon/Cyberthon participants. First Mobile Application on new Criminal Laws developed by Chandigarh Police.
This app will provide all the information related to three new laws. Anyone can download it from the Play Store. The Chandigarh Police’s effort is to ensure that people get complete information. In this app, people will be able to understand the provisions of both new and old laws and the differences between them. In addition to this, a Investigation Officer Handbook has also been launched, which will be provided to all Chandigarh Police officers. Regarding this, the Chandigarh Police has also provided training on three new laws to 500 Police officers.
