Recent Fraud Cases in Chandigarh: Visa Scams and Alleged Financial Deception

A case FIR No. 126, U/S 406, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ranbir Singh R/o Vill. Risalwa, Assandh, Distt. Karnal, HR who alleged that Khushpal Singh, Vinay, Anmol and others R/o World Visa Advisors, SCO No. 69, First Floor, Sector-17, Chandigarh cheated complainants of Rs. 10,99,500/- regarding providing visa of Australia and sending them abroad. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 76, U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Anuraj Bhanot R/o M/s. Innovation Coating(p) Ltd, Plot No. 182/53, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh who alleged that Vicky (Owner) & Sumit (Manager) of M/s Shri Balaji Polychem, 25, Singalpur, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi issued fake invoice number against consignment of raw material (chemical & paints) and did not deliver the agreed material of Rs. 4,29,756/- between 09.02.2022 to 21.02.2022. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 77, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Braham Dutt R/o Shiva Enclave, Zirakpur, Mohali and others who alleged that Manpreet Singh director & others of Sure Abroad Immigration R/o SCO No. 69, First Floor, Sector-17, Chandigarh cheated complainants of Rs. 48,20,000/- regarding providing visa of Australia and sending them abroad between 02.12.2023 to 06.04.2024. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 78, U/S 420, 506, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Sector-29B, Chandigarh who alleged that Pankaj Sharma @ Parshotam Sharma R/o # 115, Block B, Bhagat Singh Nagar, Basant Avenue, Ludhiana PB cheated complainants of Rs. 15 lakh regarding providing visa of Canada and sending them abroad between 26.02.2020 to 31.10.2023. Investigation of the case is in progress.
