Satya Pal Jain, Distributed warm clothes to children at Snehalaya, 15-C, Chandigarh

On behalf of Shree Harisimran Seva Samiti, woolen clothes were distributed to the girls at Snehalaya located in Sector 15-C, Chandigarh. Former MP and Chairman of Social Welfare Committee Satya Pal Jain was present as the chief guest in this function.
On this occasion, the chief patron of the committee Poonam Kothari, former Mayor Devesh Modgil, Anamika Walia, Rajni Gupta, Vimson Ahuja, Devidat Tiwari, Kanti Devi, Raj Rani, Dheeraj, Rohan, Kriti, Renu Rishi Gautam and Lata Giri were also present.
On this occasion, Jain said that helping that section of the society, to which god has not given all the facilities, is true service of humanity and true religion. He said that there are more than 100 girl students in Snehalaya and the staff who serve these girls with more love and affection then their own children, deserve all compliments. He said that these girls are properly brought up in this Snehalaya run by Chandigarh Administration, with a budget of about 4 crores per year.
The committee’s patron Mrs. Poonam Kothari said that Shree Harisimran Seva Samiti is continuously engaged in social service and next week blankets will be distributed among the poor and helpless people. She specially thanked Dr. Dharampal Jain, a resident of America, for making today’s clothes distribution program a success, who donated a good amount for this.
On this occasion, the girls of Snehalaya also presented a cultural program and on Mr. Jain’s asking, they discussed about the national issues and also answered his questions.
