Satya Pal Jain hoisted the flag at Shastri Market Sector 22 Chandigarh

Former MP of Chandigarh and Additional Solicitor General of India, Satya Pal Jain hoisted the flag at the Independence Day program organized by the Market Association at Shastri Market, Sector 22C. Former Mayor Devesh Moudgil was also present on this occasion. Later both of them also addressed the gathering.

On reaching the market, both the leaders were welcomed by the market leaders including Mukesh Goyal, Kulbir Singh, Puneet Kapoor Baba, Jagdish Goyal, Paramjeet Tungal, Prince Badula and Kulwinder Singh.

In his address, Jain said that Shastri Market of Chandigarh is one of the oldest markets and this market has contributed a lot to the development of the city. He said that Independence Day is a common day for all and it is a good thing that everyone celebrates it together.

Devesh Moudgil said that whatever problems are being faced in Shastri Market, they have been brought to his notice by the office bearers of the market association and he will make every effort to resolve them by meeting the officials of the administration.
