Security Guard Narinder Kumar Appreciated for Heroism by Chandigarh Police

W/SSP UT. Chandigarh appreciated the valuable role/act of Security Guard Narinder Kumar # 54, PH-II, Ramdarbar, UT. Chandigarh, working at Elante Mall, by presenting him Memento & Appriciation Letter along with cash award, for his valuable assistance to the investigation team of Police Station, Industrial Area, by nabbing one accused at the scene of crime and he also returned the bag containing cash Rs. 5,80,200/- to the complainant robbed by the accused, involved in robbery case FIR No. 25 Dt. 11.3.2024 U/s-394, 120B IPC, PS-Industrial Area, Chandigarh, which was registered on the complaint of Sukhbir Singh S/o Kashmira Singh R/o# 916, BMK, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, in which he reported that he works as Cash Custodian Collection in Hitachi Cash Management Company, Plot No. F-91, Ind. Area, Phase 7, Mohali (PB). On 11.03.2024 he along with his team came at Elante Mall, Industrial Area, Chandigarh for collection of cash, where accused persons robbed the cash bags from him by manhandling.

And only due to Narinder Kumar’s support we could got a lead for arresting other two co-accused persons involved in this important robbery case and the remaining amount i:e; cash Rs. 5,33,200/- along with Volkswagon Polo car no. CH01AE0500, used in crime recovered from their possession. Total amount which was robbed was around Rs 10 lakhs and full recovery has been affected.
