In a decisive and inspiring outcome, the Senior Citizens Council (Regd.), Panchkula successfully concluded the election of its five office bearers, with the entire panel securing a clear and collective victory.
Out of a total of 285 votes polled, an exceptionally high number of valid votes—ranging between 279 and 282—were recorded, reflecting strong participation and the members’ trust and confidence in the leadership team.
The elected office bearers are:
- Ashok Gupta (President) – 165 votes
- S. L. Mittal (Vice President) – 158 votes
- A. C. Mehta (General Secretary) – 147 votes
- H. C. Gera (Secretary) – 168 votes (Highest votes polled)
- Jai Pal Garg (Finance Secretary) – 158 votes
Expressing gratitude after the results, the winning team attributed their success to divine blessings and the wholehearted support received from all sections of the Council.
They extended sincere thanks to the Collegium Members, Chairpersons, and all members for their trust, encouragement, and valuable votes.
The newly elected leadership reaffirmed its commitment to work unitedly for the welfare, dignity, and active engagement of senior citizens, while further strengthening the Council’s role in community service.
