SLSA UT CHANDIGARH RECONSTITUTES LEGAL AID PANEL LIST INDUCTS NEW ADVOCATES

The long awaited demand of the young advocates for re-constitution of legal aid panel list of Legal Services Authority, UT Chandigarh has been approved by the Hon’ble Mr Justice Jaswant Singh, Judge Punjab and Haryana High Court cum Executive Chairman, State Legal Services Authority, UT Chandigarh.

The members of the bar had requested that the Panel of Legal Services be reconstituted thereby giving new advocates an opportunity to serve on the Panel of Legal Services Authority. The newly appointed Advocates on the panel of legal aid are very thankful to Hon’ble Mr. Justice Jaswant Singh, Judge Punjab and Haryana High Court-cum-Executive Chairman, State Legal Service Authority, Mr Gurbir Singh, Ld District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Mr. Puneesh Jindia, Ld Member Secretary, SLSA, Mr Ashok Maan, Ld CJM cum Secretary, District Legal Service Authority and Bhaag Singh Suhag President DBA Chandigarh.
All the newly appointed advocates have undertaken that they will work for the welfare of deprived and needy persons of society under the mandate of the National Legal Services Authority.
