Dr. Yogi Health Care organized a free Ayurvedic health check-up camp in memory of the Pulwama martyrs. The camp was inaugurated by Surinder Kaur Yogi, the wife of renowned Late Vaid Harbhajan Singh Yogi. Along with her, Pradeep Sharma, the Chandigarh department minister of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, who is also the chairman of the Chandigarh Vikas Samiti (CVS), and Dr. Sandeep Sandhu, the president of CVS, along with Dr. Rajeev Kapila, in charge of the Health Wellness Center in Sector 37, were present. Also in attendance were Subhash Nareng, chairman of the Traders Welfare Association, Sector 22-C, Gopal Wadhwa, president, Vikram Nijhawan, senior vice president, Anil Dheengra, vice president, and cashier Deepak Nagpal, and others.
Dr. Beerinder Singh Yogi, the center’s managing director, said that an experienced team of Ayurvedic doctors conducted health check-ups for nearly 217 individuals at the camp and provided free distribution of blood sugar, blood pressure check-ups, and medicines. He mentioned that the majority of patients had diabetes. He advised all attendees to understand that consuming unhealthy food is equivalent to making enemies with their digestive system. Including fiber-rich meals and drinking an adequate amount of water are essential in maintaining a healthy diet.
Dr. Sandeep Sandhu, while paying homage to the martyrs of Pulwama, said that the sacrifice of all those brave soldiers did not go in vain because the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a free hand to the military to teach a lesson to the perpetrators of this tragic incident, and no one dared to look towards our country again.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Beerinder Singh Yogi was recently honored with the Sushruta Award by the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Rajya Sabha member Kartik Sharma in Delhi.
