The city’s travel community gathered for an enriching evening of learning, networking, and celebration, as Travel Agent Consortium of Tricity (TACT), Skal Club Chandigarh, and ClubMed hosted a special event at Satva Club. The gathering saw participation from over 40 prominent travel partners from the Tricity region, marking another significant milestone in fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the travel and tourism industry.

The highlight of the evening was an insightful presentation by Mr. Manoj Upadhyay from ClubMed, who shared in-depth knowledge about the rapidly evolving travel landscape, luxury experiences, and the future of all-inclusive holidays. His engaging session captivated the audience, reinforcing ClubMed’s global reputation as a leader in premium travel experiences and offering fresh perspectives on the future of luxury travel.

In recognition of his valuable contribution, senior members from TACT and Skal, Mr. Mukesh Sharma and Mr. Naveen Kumar, presented Mr. Upadhyay with a special memento as a token of appreciation for the wealth of knowledge he shared during his session.

The evening also saw a heartfelt moment of celebration as Mr. Anil Anand of M/s Anand Travels was honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to the travel industry over the past four decades. Mr. Anand, a former President of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) Chandigarh Chapter, was acknowledged for his immense dedication and leadership. The award was presented to Mr. Anand by Mr. Sanjay Pahwa and Mr. Sanjay Sethi, who expressed deep admiration for his tireless service and remarkable leadership in shaping the industry.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Vinod Sharma, President of TACT and Vice President of Skal Club, expressed his gratitude to both Mr. Upadhyay and Mr. Anand, highlighting their invaluable contributions to the growth of the travel sector. “Such gatherings are vital to strengthening our professional ties and keeping pace with evolving industry trends. It’s through events like these that we continue to foster collaboration and innovation within the travel community,” Mr. Sharma said.
