TACT Strengthens Bonds: Our purpose is to emphasize fostering mutual understanding among members says Vinod Sharma, President TACT

Mr. Vinod Sharma, the President of TACT (Travel Agents Consortium of Tri-City), has once again taken the lead by bringing prominent trade partners from the hotel and airline industries into the consortium to expand its reach and impact.

The meeting commenced with a warm welcome extended to all members by TACT President Vinod Sharma and Secretary General Piyush Kohli.

During a brief conversation with The Voice of Chandigarh, President Vinod Sharma said, “This was our first meeting after the new team was elected.” The agenda focused on fostering mutual understanding, cordial relations, and friendships among members.

Piyush Kohli, the dynamic Secretary General of TACT, highlighted the significance of involving trade partners from the hotel and travel industries, stating that it would strengthen TACT’s network. He added, “I am looking forward to contributing to the economic growth of the travel industry. Our newly introduced partners will undoubtedly bring an aura of optimism and confidence.”

New Members Introduced

Two new members were formally inducted into the TACT community:

  1. Mr. Raminder Bawa from Sai Vacations, Solan
  2. Mr. Sethi from Panam Holidays

The President extended heartfelt congratulations and expressed the community’s eagerness to collaborate with the new members.

Friends of TACT: A New Session

During the meeting, a new session, Friends of TACT, was introduced. This session aims to invite distinguished individuals with high credentials or significant contributions to the travel trade. It provides TACT members with a platform to engage and build relationships with these dignitaries.

Two notable dignitaries were invited to this session:

  1. Mr. Ajay Sood (Owner of Chillaru Resort)
    Mr. Sood shared insights about Chillaru Resort, located two hours from Chandigarh, and emphasized his focus on direct collaborations with TACT members, offering exclusive support and preferential rates.
  2. Mr. Pavneet Singh (Director of Sales & Marketing, Justa Hotels)
    Mr. Singh spoke about Justa Hotels’ Pan-India presence as a luxury brand and highlighted their upcoming tented accommodations for the Maha Kumbh in Allahabad.

As a token of appreciation, Mr. Rohit Badhwar and Mr. Naveen Puri presented memorabilia to Mr. Pavneet Singh on behalf of TACT. Similarly, Mr. Mukesh Sharma and Mr. Harraj Sidhu presented memorabilia to Mr. Ajay Sood.

Heartiest Congratulations to Sanjay Pahwa (Media Director, TACT)

A moment of immense pride and joy unfolded when all TACT members gave a thunderous applause to Sanjay Pahwa, Editor-in-Chief of The Voice of Chandigarh and The Voice of Canada, for being elected as an Executive Member of the prestigious Chandigarh Club.

Mr. Pahwa expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all TACT members for their unwavering support and cooperation.
