The Voice of Chandigarh | Travel Trade Reporter:
Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce, Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and Thai Trade Center New Delhi, with support from the Royal Thai Embassy and Tourism Authority in New Delhi, launched Thailand Week Trade Fair & Festival 2022, which will be held from 26th to 28th August 2022, at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, New Delhi under the theme FairFunFest.
“Despite challenges like the pandemic, Thailand and India could still enjoy the impressively new high record of bilateral trade at 14.9 billion USD in 2021. Such a remarkable increase in our bilateral trade was attributable to DITP’s practical changes in strategies, mindsets and working methods, as guided by the well-developed policy of the Honourable Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce of Thailand (Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit). DITP is very proud to announce that the “Thailand Week Trade Fair & Festival 2022” will be the first full-scale physical trade fair in the capital city of India to continue promoting our bilateral trade and business interactions.” Mrs. Arada Fuangtong, Deputy Director-General of DITP, stated in a video message.
The Thailand Week Trade Fair & Festival 2022 provides Indian consumers with opportunities to explore Thailand’s amazing culture and products. Meanwhile, importers and distributors can leverage trade opportunities with Thai exporters, which can lead to sustainable partnerships and profitability in the long run. The fair will take place between 26th to 28th August 2022 at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, New Delhi.
“DITP is evolving this year’s trade show as a physical platform to boost trade, business, and people-to-people contact between India and Thailand. We work closely with the Indian distribution network to understand the consumer’s needs and trends. As a result, a variety of more than 150 Thai products are showcased at Thailand Week Trade Fair & Festival 2022 ranging from food&beverages, fashion & accessories, health&beauty products, and household&decor products to meet the demands of the growing Indian market. In addition, the event will also bring a wide range of cultural activities for visitors to experience amazing Thailand, including Thai cooking demonstration, authentic Thai food and fruits tasting and cultural performances.” Ms. Saithong Soiphet, Director of Thai Trade Center New Delhi, said.
Given the quality products, trade opportunities, and colourful activities, there is no reason not to visit and experience Thai culture at Thailand Week Trade Fair & Festival 2022.
