Tourism Meets Sports: Global Tourism Badminton League Set to Make History

The tourism and travel fraternity is all set to witness a first-of-its-kind sporting extravaganza with the Global Tourism Badminton League (GTBL), exclusively for industry professionals and their families. The event celebrates teamwork, trust, and togetherness, bringing together tour operators, hoteliers, airlines, DMCs, B2B and B2C agents, and tourism boards on a single platform that promotes both sportsmanship and networking.

For the first time in India, under the chairmanship of Pinkal Shah, the Global Tourism Club (GTC) will host GTBL at the prestigious Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, Ahmedabad on 31st January and 1st February 2026.

The league promises to be a landmark moment for tourism, blending high-performance badminton with industry engagement. The event is supported by the Sports Authority of Gujarat and is expected to set new benchmarks for combining sports and travel networking.
