In light of a VVIP visit on 16th October 2024, please be informed of the following traffic arrangements:
- Traffic Restrictions:
- Dakshin Marg: Diverted from Airport Light Point to Tribune Chowk.
- Purv Marg: Diverted from Tribune Chowk to Transport Light Point.
- Madhya Marg: Diverted from Transport Light Point to Dhillon Barrier.
- Time of Restriction:
- 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Additional Restrictions: Other road stretches may also experience restrictions or diversions during the VVIP movement.
- Alternate Routes: The public is advised to use alternate routes to avoid congestion and inconvenience.
- Real-Time Updates: For real-time traffic updates, please follow the Chandigarh Traffic Police on social media.
- Parking Regulations:
- No parking on cycle tracks, pedestrian pathways, or designated No Parking Areas. Violators will face strict action, and vehicles may be towed.
