TTAUP TRAVEL MART (TTM) held at Holiday Inn Lucknow

World Tourism Day on September 27th, 2023 was marked by the Travel Trade Association of Uttar Pradesh as they organized the TTAUP TRAVEL MART (TTM) at the luxurious Holiday Inn in Lucknow. This prestigious event was attended by more than 400 travel trade partners, consolidators, and high-level guests.

Mr. Jaiveer Singh, the Minister of Tourism and Culture for the Government of Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated the program, marking the importance of the tourism and hospitality sector as an integral part of the Make in India initiative.

The event was graced by the presence of representatives from prominent airlines in the industry, including Indigo, Air Asia, Air India, Air India Express, Akasa Air, Vistara, Fly Dubai, Saudia, Oman Air, Salam Air, and Flynas, to name a few.

The founders of TTAUP, Mr. SMA Sheeraz and Mr. Vivek Pandey, along with the below office bearers of TTAUP, were in attendance: Mr. M. Azam as President, Mr. Rajiv Arora as Vice President, Mr. Sandeep Srivastava as General Secretary, Mr. Arshad Zaidi as Joint Secretary, Ms. Gayatri Khanna as Treasurer, Mr. Akash Khanna as Member, Mr. Pradeep Chaurasia as Member, and Mr. Manoj Rawat as Member.

This well-organized and attended travel mart is set to significantly accelerate tourism in the state, serving as an essential source of foreign exchange earnings and a vital economic catalyst that fuels job creation and rapid development. The expected result will be an increase in revenues and a contribution towards making the state a one-trillion-dollar economy.
