Turespaña reinforces its strategy for the decentralization of international tourism in La Rioja and Navarra

The Spanish Tourism Institute (TURESPAÑA) celebrated, together with Tourism of the autonomous communities of La Rioja and Navarra, two business conferences with the objective, on the one hand, of getting to know first-hand the new supply from these territories and incorporating them into the markets of origin; and on the other hand, expand collaboration with these inland destinations to better market them internationally.
The conference took place in Logroño (La Rioja), and in Pamplona (Navarra), and the Spanish Tourism advisors in Paris, Berlin, London, The Hague, and Brussels participated, who presented the trends of their respective markets and the useful information to adapt the offer of these two autonomous communities.
TURESPAÑA works, following the Strategic Marketing Plan 2021-2024, to improve the sustainability of the tourism sector, which is reflected in this case, in supporting the internationalization of two inland destinations with a great and powerful tourist offer related to food and wine. , culture, and nature.
In addition, during these days, there was the opportunity for networking between the local business tourism sector and the tourism advisors of these five markets. Meetings that served to better coordinate the 2024 Action Plan of the Ministries and, also, part of the action plan to improve collaboration with TURESPAÑA and advance greater public-private collaboration.
