Two Fresh FIRs Registered in Chandigarh Over Online Fraud and Job Scam

Chandigarh Police have registered two separate cases of cheating involving cyber fraud and a job scam.
Cyber Fraud Case:
A case FIR No. 112 U/S 319(2), 318(4), 61(2) BNS has been lodged at Cyber Cell, Sector 17, on the complaint of a woman resident of Sector-41/B, Village Buterla, Chandigarh. She alleged that an unknown fraudster duped her of ₹2.85 lakh on the pretext of online investment. The investigation is underway.
Job Scam Case:
Another case FIR No. 74 U/S 406, 420 IPC has been registered at Police Station Manimajra on the complaint of a woman from Bank Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh. She accused Ram Kishore, resident of Railway Colony No. 13, College Road, Ludhiana (Punjab) of cheating her of ₹10 lakh by promising a job in Delhi Police/Railway Police for her son. The matter is under investigation.
