VIRTUAL TRAVEL MART 2021: YAS ISLAND READY TO WELCOME BACK INDIAN TOURISTS AS BORDERS REOPEN TO VISITORS

Yas Island Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s fastest-growing leisure and entertainment destinations, successfully concluded the second Virtual Travel Mart (VTM), which took place from 15-16 September 2021. Yas Island received an overwhelmingly positive response from travel agents specially since the announcement of Abu Dhabi welcoming back all fully vaccinated travellers for a quarantine free holiday.
Yas Island enjoyed strong engagement with100+ travel agents pan India, as the destination prepares for the future with the easing of travel restrictions in Abu Dhabi. This included 1,100+ registrations from agents, alongside productive virtual booths meetings, destination training sessions, and joint meetings with top trade partners. Agents learnt about the upcoming attractions, hotel openings, as well as world-leading health and safety measures on the Island. Yas Island puts visitor’s safety first and in this year’s VTM, safety reassurance was well received by travel agents and visitors alike.
India is a very important market for Yas Island and Experience Hub currently has a growing network of more than 300+ trade partners and 3,000 Yas Experts in India. Yas Island aims to further expand its reach across various pockets of India to highlight the island’s varying tourist packages ideal for the Indian traveller i.e. families, single visitors, senior citizens, millennials and corporate meetings making it a destination for all age groups.
