“Vitana 1.0” Lights Up PGI: Grand Doctors’ Day Celebration by ARD & Aryans Group Honors Medical Heroes

In a powerful tribute to the dedication and tireless service of medical professionals, the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), PGIMER Chandigarh, in collaboration with Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, hosted a spectacular celebration titled “Vitana 1.0” on the occasion of Doctors’ Day. This landmark event—the first of its scale at PGI—celebrated the compassion, resilience, and commitment of resident doctors.

The evening was graced by Prof. Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, as Chief Guest, and Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, as Special Guest. The event saw an overwhelming presence of senior faculty members, consultants, medical professionals, and academic dignitaries. Ms. Nidhi Chopra, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing, was also in attendance.

The celebration began on a thoughtful note with a financial wellness session, addressing the critical but often-neglected dimension of a doctor’s life—financial planning and security.

This was followed by a lively cultural evening, where resident doctors showcased their multifaceted talents through music, dance, and theatrical performances, reflecting their dynamism beyond the white coats. A symbolic cake-cutting ceremony added warmth and unity to the occasion, signifying the shared journey of perseverance and healing.

Injecting humor and energy into the gathering, renowned comedian Pritish Narula had the audience in fits of laughter with his stand-up performance. The event concluded with an electrifying DJ night and gala dinner, bringing together residents, faculty, and guests in a memorable celebration of fellowship and joy.
