He envisioned that these new teachers equipped with the latest teaching practices should impart quality education to the students so that they can excel in life. The Chief Minister said that earlier the schools were vacant but the water tanks in front of schools were full as the teaching aspirants climbed on them due to agitation. However, he said that his government has reversed the trend by giving jobs to the youth who are now teaching the students and contributing to the progress of the state. The Chief Minister asked the newly recruited teachers to motivate the students for acquiring education as per their interests so that they can carve a niche for themselves. He said that the teachers must discharge their duties in a befitting manner and become role models for the pupils so that they can also excel in life. The Chief Minister reiterated that the state government fills all the posts as soon as they are vacant in the department. He said that a foolproof mechanism has been adopted for the entire recruitment process due to which not even a single appointment out of these more than 52,000 jobs have been challenged so far in any court. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is a proud moment for the government of Punjab that these youth have been given government jobs completely on the basis of merit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
