Yoga Camp for Journalists at Chandigarh Press Club

The Voice of Chandigarh:

Chandigarh: At a time when the world is gearing up to celebrate International Yoga Day, journalists in Chandigarh are also embracing a yogic lifestyle within the premises of the Press Club.

During this two-week camp, yoga instructor Acharya Balvinder said that in today’s fast-paced life—where our daily routines are disrupted, diets are unhealthy, and the air is polluted—leading a yogic life is a guarantee of good health. Especially for media professionals who work under constant pressure and often late into the night, yoga is a blessing. Teaching yoga at the Press Club for over two and a half decades, Acharya Balvinder emphasized the importance of a yogic lifestyle.

Speaking at the camp held at the Press Club premises in Sector 27, Press Club President Saurabh Duggal said that media professionals involved in news gathering and content creation should make yoga a part of their lives. It helps combat stress and ailments caused by irregular work hours. He also announced a special event to mark the conclusion of the camp on International Yoga Day, June 21.
