A case FIR No. 60, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Jatin, Aakash (Owner) and Sandeep (Manager) of Graffo Club, SCO No. 10A, Sector-7, Chandigarh who served hookah to the customers at Graffo Club on 02.05.2022 and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Azad R/o Village Dahar, Tehsil Israna, Distt. Panipat (HR) Age 43 Years and recovered 1.05 Kg of opium from his possession near Railway Fattak, Manimajra to Kishangarh road, Chandigarh on 02.05.2022. A case FIR No. 69, U/S 18 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested for eve-teasing

A case FIR No. 88, U/S 354D IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of a girl who alleged that occupants of car No. CH-01BR-0310 eve-teased complainant near MCM DAV College, Sector-36, Chandigarh on 02.05.2022. Later persons namely Simranpreet Singh R/o # 436, Sector-41A, Chandigarh (Age 24 years) and Amandeep Singh R/o # 143, Sector-41B, Buterla, Chandigarh (Age 25 years) were arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.   

Robbery

A case FIR No. 73, U/S 392, 34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajinder Kumar R/o VPO Dharamgarh, Distt Mohali (PB) who reported that two unknown persons on Activa Scooter robbed away mobile phone, cash Rs. 1800/- & some documents from complainant at gunpoint near Kali Bari Light Point, Sector 47, Chandigarh on 01-05-2022. Investigation of the case is in progress.
